Non Sequitur

I am thankful to have discovered a passion,
even if it leaves me folding t-shirts endlessly.

I am thankful for pumpkin cheesecake.
Do I need an explanation for that??

I am thankful for my job,
not all of my co-workers have one this evening.

I am thankful for the amazing thoughtfulness and timing of my friends.
Thank you, Denise, I really needed this today!

I am thankful for my stubborn, dedicated, loving husband who, even on the days when we could happily strangle each other, never, ever makes me doubt that he’s on Team M for now and forever. I <3 you E!

I am thankful for every minute of sleep I get…
and for Dunkins when those minutes fall short.

I am thankful for my Dyson for being there when my klutz gene kicks in…
and for on-line shopping which replaces that which was broken…
This time, shatterproof.

I am thankful for the education I received,
for the ways it opened my mind
and for the people it brought into my life.

I am thankful for my parents
who made that dream possible and many others too.
