Dang, such a good morning and now this, lol. Monkey was on the playground playing chase with another student. He was running and looking back at the boy chasing him and he hit a pole. Oww! He didn’t even react, the aid didn’t notice anything was wrong until he ran by her. She thought he had a woodchip under his eye but it was a bloodied bruise, lol. The kid is a tank.
He’s home with Duhdee for some extra TLC and maybe some ice if he will cooperate.
Ouch!
😆 okay I know it’s not funny but still…I can just see this poor kid hauling butt and running full force into a pole he had no clue was there. It’s straight out of a cartoon. At least he is solid and he got to get some TLC out of it. 🙂
Yeah, that’s pretty much exactly what happened. I spoke to the aid today and she said it slowed him down for a second but he barely reacted. They only sent him home b/c he wouldn’t let them put ice on it and it was getting swollen.
I have to confess, I’ve walked into street signs just exactly like this before too but I did not handle it as gracefully 🙂
