…for parents who taught me that rewards come to those who work hard and sacrifice in the short-term.
…for in-laws who love and accept me unconditionally.
…for grandparents who have always made time for me even though I’ve not been very good about doing the same for them.
…for friends who have known me for years and still like me.
…for friends who are just getting to know me and still like me.
…for amazing neighbors who’ve made this corner of the big, bad city a home.
…for my husband who is my everything.
…for my son who brings me such joy every day.
…for each and every one of you reading this.
Your support has gotten me through some really awful moments and made sweeter moments that much sweeter…thank you.
I hope you all have an amazing Thanksgiving.
Happy Thanksgiving to you, Eric and Monkey!
Thank you!
I’m new to FXS and your site. I’ve got a 2 year old who was diagnosed 6 months ago (I’m an overachiever) and I just want wanted you to know that you have already helped me so, so much. Keep on keepin’ on, lady! Not that you have any other option, I know 😉
You ARE an overachiever! Can I ask how you received the diagnosis so early?
he’s got two typical older siblings. I knew something was off when at seven months he was missing milestones… and I think I just *knew*, you know? We also have a great, great pediatrician who encouraged us find out if there was anything behind the myriad symptoms he had/has. First round of blood work with the neuro and we had our Dx. CRAZY. Crazy year!
