Yesterday I mentioned this sleep app called “Sleep Cycle” that we are going to use to track Caleb’s sleep. At one point I said…
This one doesn’t look too bad
Ohohohoho! Did any of you laugh wildly when you read that and thought….”NOW YOU’VE DONE IT!”?? No?
I didn’t, I was too busy being chipper and happy and all as I moved toward perfection. I could even hear little birdies chirruping sweetly as they flew excitedly around my head. Ugh.
So this…
turned into this…
Yeah, I know, it’s a marked up version I made using “Paint” because I forgot to send myself the chart this morning…Gosh, I wonder WHY??
Next time I say anything positive about how Caleb sleeps, please…please…just remind me I’ll need an extra cup or two the next morning to wash the taste of crow out of my mouth.
LOL. Don’t think I actually want to know William’s actual sleep cycle. On those days he does not come out of his room, I count my blessings! If he’s up for that long, as long as he is nice and quiet in his room, we’re good!
Caleb’s wake up is not flexible…even on the weekends he gets up just about the same time every morning no matter how much sleep he does or doesn’t get. I’d feel a little better about it if he ever took a nap to make up for the lost hours but not this guy. Not unless there’s something else wrong at least!
I know what you mean. Will had insomnia for about three hours night before and as luck would have it, comcast was updating their systems and we could not access any programming that would lull him back to sleep. So, he was up for about three hours. Got home from school and quietly slipped away (never a good sign), and took a nap from 5 – &:30, at which point I figured I was doomed for a sleepless night. He finally went to sleep about 10:30 but thankfully, slept the whole night!
Sleep deprivation is worst than starving 🙁
Solidary hug!
Sleep deprivation seems to slow down everything…except my temper! Poor Monkey gets weepy 🙁
For some unexplained reason Dans insomnia has been almost eliminated since he began taking AFQ056 over a year ago. At one point he was only sleeping 4-5 hrs.
and we were very desperate for a solution.
Caleb’s sleep seems to cycle through good phases and really bad ones…it’s WAY better than it used to be but he still just looks and acts SO tired lately.
Could it be a blood sugar issue or iron deficiency (anemia)?
