He definitely is sleeping more but yesterday, out of curiosity, we checked his browsing history on my laptop. We thought he’d gotten up just before 6:00 because that is when we heard him. He got up a little bit earlier than 6 though. Like 3:30 early! No wonder he was so ridiculously cranky last night.
We’re now discussing door alarms and/or a motion sensor so we can catch the sneaky little bugger if he pulls that again.
Monkey was on your laptop at 3:30 AM? Yikes, I didn;t envision him as old enough to do that and be browsing, but I guess holly is using the iPhone at 22 months, so I suppose in a few more years the possibilities are endless. I hope he gets some more sleep! Can you keep him up in the evening so he sleeps till later in the morning?
Yes, door alarms or something. Grampy said the same thing. We don’t need Monkey going for a walk but I still don’t think he would do that but you never know. Better be safe than sorry.
He has his own profile on my laptop and some favorites on the browser…he’s really good with the computer! His browsing is MOSTLY YouTube videos, he has favorites and he can move through the site with the related videos section as well.
Right now he’s loving watching Wii Bowling clips, lol. He broke the disc so he’s missing it at the moment. We should have the replacement tomorrow.
Grammy, my biggest fear isn’t that he’ll go for a walk but that he’ll step out onto the deck (which he loves to do) and get locked out there. It’s SO cold. He can’t get out there now, though, there is that big deadbolt up by Duhdee’s head that he can’t reach.
I think we’ll do door alarms at the front and back and maybe a motion sensor at his door. We can’t do a door alarm on his door because his door is open during the night. We’ll have to put the motion sensor up high enough that the dogs don’t set it off too.
Oh, and…it doesn’t matter how late he stays up…we did figure that out with all the experimenting over the last few months! He gets up at the same time every morning regardless of what time he goes to bed and he’s just as likely to have wake-ups during the night.
