I just found this, wrapped carefully, in Monkey’s backpack.
I assume that Monkey made this. I also assume it’s supposed to be a bowl. Whatever it is, it is our first bit of school-made pottery…and I love it.

Several years from now, as you’re dusting around items like this one, just remember to pick it up and look at all the little fingerprints that are imbedded in the surface. As a father of adult children and one last child who is nearly grown, I long for the days when I could sit with one or two on my lap playing those little silly games that kids and daddies do… Those little fingerprints take me back to that time.
Hey!! It was probably supposed to be saved for Mother’s Day- you cheated!!lol I have my entire hutch in our dining room filled with Kira’s pottery pieces and we weren’t always sure what they were! Monkey’s bowl looks like a beautiful candy dish, use it everyday.
